Cafe De Manila, US LLC History
Established in 2008.
Cafe De Manila started catering since 2008. From food drop to full catering set-up for church gathering, child dedication, sweet sixteen parties, holidays, birthdays and weddings. Served around Dallas metro with focus area in Collin County. Before acquisition of the restaurant in Feb 2015 located in Beltline, Richardson TX (formerly D’Kusina/Zey Asian Cuisine), Cafe De Manila had rented a place in Farmshop located in Allen TX where they sold classic and coffee flan, creme brulee, tiramisu, cassava cake and fresh lumpia. The business was being patronized by our kababayans and local consumers until the owners decided to give up the Farmshop place in The Village at Fairview early 2015 to concentrate in the Filipino restaurant business in Richardson, TX. Our Executive Chef/Owner Richard (BUJU) Waymire Santos, Jr, a Filipino American has an Associate Degree in Cullinary graduate in Le Cordon Bleu (Dallas), who grew up in Manila, a graduate of BA in Economics, in PSBA, had a vast exposure in the culinary industry, from school cafeteria, corporate cafeteria, Italian restaurants like Brio, Ruth’s Chris, hotels like Marriott and other prominent restaurants around Dallas Metro. Chef Buju proved himself serving Filipino dishes in Dallas metro. On top of his Filipino cuisine expertise, Chef Richard can also cater other international dishes like Italian, American and others.
